Beautiful, healthy legs – without varicose veins and spider veins.

Varicose veins and spider veins are not only cosmetically disturbing but can also lead to serious complaints. Our practice offers you modern diagnostic and Therapeutic methods in phlebology to detect and treat these problems at an early stage.

Early Diagnosis

Through clinical examination and duplex sonography of the leg veins, we detect venous diseases at an early stage.

Individualized Therapy

After a thorough examination, we develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Specialized Treatments

We specialize in various forms of sclerotherapy as well as the diagnosis and treatment of deep vein thrombosis.

Varicose Veins
Varicose Veins
Varicose veins are abnormally enlarged veins, usually appearing in the legs. As a result, the return flow of blood to the heart is impaired. Initially, they may be merely a cosmetic issue, but later they can cause symptoms such as a heavy feeling, swelling, and skin irritation. In severe cases, they can lead to open sores, vein inflammation, and thrombosis. Varicose veins are often successfully treated with sclerotherapy.
Spider Veins
Spider Veins
Spider veins are small, dilated veins in the skin, usually on the legs. They are primarily a cosmetic concern and can often be effectively treated and permanently removed with sclerotherapy .
Deep Vein Thrombosis
Deep Vein Thrombosis
A deep vein thrombosis is a condition in which a blood clot forms in a deep leg vein. This can block blood flow and lead to complications such as pulmonary embolism. Symptoms may include pain, swelling, and a heavy feeling in the affected leg. Treatment typically involves blood thinners and compression therapy.
Therapy Options
Sclerotherapy
Conventional Sclerotherapy Sclerotherapy, also known as vein obliteration, treats varicose and spider veins by injecting a sclerosing agent, which seals the vein and gradually transforms it into connective tissue. Compression is required after the treatment. A 30-minute walk is recommended, after which you can resume your normal activities.
Foam Sclerotherapy
Duplex-Guided Foam Sclerotherapy Foam sclerotherapy is an advanced form of treatment using a sclerosing agent in foam form, resulting in a stronger effect. The agent is converted into microfoam and injected into varicose veins under ultrasound guidance. After a short contact time with the vein wall, the foam is broken down. This method is suitable for larger varicose veins and smaller veins at risk of bleeding, and it can often eliminate the need for surgery.
Compression Therapy
Compression Therapy Compression therapy using medical compression bandages or compression stockings is a fundamental treatment for venous diseases. Decongestion of the leg relieves symptoms of venous stasis. External pressure helps the vein valves close more effectively, promotes venous return, and reduces swelling and tension. Based on the severity of your condition and individual factors, we will determine the most appropriate compression therapy for you.
